Abduction
The abduction cushion is an ideal bedtime cushion when your legs are required to remain in the same position. This extra-large positioning cushion is unique because it can be used both when lying on your back and also on your side. This abduction cushion holds its shape and provides comfortable support. By placing the cushion between the tops of both legs, just below your crotch, the legs can be spread easily and comfortably.
The abduction cushion is often used after a leg, knee or hip operation.
It is also highly suitable as an anti-decubitus cushion, to prevent bedsores. The upright part in the middle prevents the knees and legs from touching. It has many different uses and is also perfect to support the knees and legs. In addition, the cushion provides a sturdy solution to prevent muscle spasms. The pressure points are removed and pressure is spread evenly. This aids or prevents bedsores and gives the patient greater comfort.

1. Cotton: this is a strong cotton fabric suitable for daily use.

2. Bi-tec (PU): this material is suitable for medical purposes and has the following properties:
- impermeable
- breathable
- bi-elasti
- anti-dust mite
- antifungal
- fire retardant (BS 6807 CRIB 5)
- can be washed with almost any disinfectant
Composition:
- 45% PE / 55% PU
- 190 gr/m²
Colour: light blue
This washable cover is made of water-repellent Bi-tec material and can be washed with almost any disinfectant. This makes the cushions practical and hygienic to use.
You can also order a loose washable cover made of cotton/polyester for all cushion types.
