Abduction Wedge
This wedge cushion for insertion between the legs allows the legs and knees to be easily spread. It is also highly suitable for use as an anti-decubitus cushion thanks to the polystyrene beads. Furthermore, it is a beneficial and compact way of preventing muscle spasms.
By placing the positioning cushion between the tops of both legs, just below the crotch, both legs can be spread. It is often used after a leg, knee or hip operation.
The round structure of the beads allows plenty of air to circulate within the cushion. The small beads evenly distribute the pressure exerted on the cushion, pleasantly spreading the temperature and providing a comfortable position. Bedsores are aided and prevented thanks to the even pressure distribution on the body and good air circulation in the cushion.

1. Cotton: this is a strong cotton fabric suitable for daily use.

2. Bi-tec (PU): this material is suitable for medical purposes and has the following properties:
- impermeable
- breathable
- bi-elasti
- anti-dust mite
- antifungal
- fire retardant (BS 6807 CRIB 5)
- can be washed with almost any disinfectant
Composition:
- 45% PE / 55% PU
- 190 gr/m²
Colour: light blue
This washable cover is made of water-repellent Bi-tec material and can be washed with almost any disinfectantn. This makes the cushions practical and hygienic to use.
You can also order a loose washable cover made of cotton/polyester for all cushion types.
